Frieda Impact Wines
Frieda Impact Wines is a voluntary startup built on a simple idea: sell good wine and do good at the same time. Following the motto "A few bottles want to save the world", a contribution from every bottle sold is donated to a non-profit organisation.

The project grew out of an idea by Bastian Mopin and Jakob Kunz, together with an interdisciplinary team of young creatives and specialists from business, marketing, viticulture, communication and IT. The design work accompanied the entire brand presence, from the corporate identity with logo, colour palette, typography and imagery through to the wine label itself. The central challenge was to combine the premium character of the cuvee wine with the attitude of a young, socially committed company in one cohesive visual identity.
The label forms the visual core of the brand: present on the shelf, clear in character and with the donation idea embedded directly into the design. Illustrations and visuals for the website extend this identity and make the brand world tangible.
Frieda shows how design can go beyond the purely visual, as part of a real start-up process and with responsibility across every brand touchpoint.
