Paradise in a Box

Paradise in a Box addresses one of lockdown's quieter side effects: the loss of access to nature. The concept brings greenery and natural experience into the home, offering a simple response to isolation and its impact on mental health during covid.

Paradise in a Box is a gardening solution that can be attached to a window with ease, bringing nature into the home whether or not a balcony or garden is available, or when leaving the house is not possible for different reasons.

One of the central design challenges was adapting the system to different window formats. This is solved through a custom-designed adapter that functions as the connection between the window and the garden box and is available in three sizes based on common standard measurements.

The product is complemented by a digital planner on the website: using drag and drop, the individual box can be configured independently by choosing from different materials, holders and accessories.
